What is Katya Pill?
Katya, also known as a combined oral contraceptive pill is used to prevent pregnancy. It does this by stopping ovulation and also making it hard for the sperm to get to the egg. Ethinylestradiol and gestodene are the two active ingredients in Katya pills. If taken as prescribed, Katya pills offer over 99% against pregnancy.
How Does Femodette Work?
Katya contains Ethinylestradiol and gestodene whose actions prevent ovulating and thicken cervical mucus. This makes it almost impossible for male sperm to get to the egg for fertilization. As a result, are over 99% safe from becoming pregnant.
What Does Femodette ED Treat?
It might help you:
- Have periods that are lighter and more regular
- Feel more relieved from premenstrual syndrome
- Improve your skin condition
Femodene may not be the best option for you if you:
- Are allergic to any of its ingredients
- Have severe migraines or diabetes
- Have a history of breast cancer, stroke or heart attack
- Have cancer of the genitals
- Have an impaired liver function
- Have high blood pressure
- Have or have had a blood clot or blood clotting disorder
- Your blood has high lipid levels.

Here is how you should use Femodette:
- Take a pill every day for the next 21 days.
- Swallow it with water.
- Try taking your pills at around the same time each day.
- You can then take a 7-day pill free break once you are done with the 21 pills.
- Expect a withdrawal bleed during this break.
- Start a new pack of Femodette after the 7-day break.
- Remember, you are still safe from getting pregnant during the 7-day pill-free break. But only if you took your pills as advised.
